Follow the following points to avoid it:

Drink a lot of water, at least 3 or 4 liters a day, even if you are not thirsty, 2 days before and during your stay.

Eat chocolates and/or "Sweet" energy bars 2 days before and during your stay.

Always carry alcohol and cotton in your backpack in case you present symptoms of dizziness.

On your ascent from Manizales or neighboring cities, come without a jacket, with comfortable clothes and when you arrive at sector 8, lower the windows, get out of your vehicle for 10 minutes, this process will help you acclimatize, you can wrap up when you are in your cabin . Go up the mountain at your own pace, it should take you about 10 to 15 minutes, make stops every 3 minutes to avoid uncomfortable dizziness.
